It is designed for comprehensive protection of important areal stationary and mobile single point-type objects or a group of point-type objects remote at a short distance one from another from small unmanned aerial vehicles (hereinafter – drones).
Tasks to solve:
- search, detection, recognition and tracking of small unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) with radar, ELINT and optronic reconnaissance means;
- RF jamming of control channels and satellite navigation (GNSS GPS, GLONASS, Galileo/ BeiDou) of drones;
- hard kill of drones and ground objects with weapons of different types;
- hard kill of ground control stations of the enemy’s drone operators.
The Composition of “Sapsan-GK” Complex:
- control and EW module;
- up to 4 units of reconnaissance and firing modules with weapons for different types of 7,62 mm PKT machine-guns (2 (4 units) or 12,7 mm NSVT machine-guns (1-2 units) or LMGK-60 Grenade Launchers (12 units).
As an auxiliary mobile firing module of attacking ground objects, the complex can be equipped with special-purpose combat unmanned aerial system “Assistant” (up to 4 units of LMGK-60 Grenade Launchers).
