“Shershen-P” remote-controlled launcher is designed for remote launching of anti-tank guided missiles, such as 9M111, 9M111M, 9M111-2, 9M113, 9M113M controlled by wire communication line, as well as rocket-propelled grenades with single-use grenade launcher RPG-27, RShG-1 or RMG at any daytime.
“Shershen-P” is designed to destruct armored stationary and moving targets (if there is a line of sight - LOS) with combined, composite or monolithic armor, including ERA, as well as small-sized targets such as: pillboxes, log emplacements, lightly armored objects such as APCs and hovering helicopters, as well as to defeat manpower and military equipment in confined spaces (bunkers, buildings, tunnels, caves), with anti-tank guided missiles or rocket-propelled grenades with a single-use grenade launcher.
“Shershen-P” remote-controlled launcher consists of:
- electrically driven platform;
- guidance device;
- remote-control panel with a rechargeable battery;
- control unit with a rechargeable battery;
- brackets with RPG firing mechanism actuator;
- set of cables and harnesses.
“Shershen-P” launcher ensures aimed remote firing of RPG or ATGM at a distance of min 100 m from the platform to the remote-control panel.
Target destruction range (depending on the type of ammunition):
- for RPG - from 50 to 700 m;
- for ATGMs - from 100 to 4000 m.
PN-1 guidance device provides:
- detection range for “Tank” type targets (side view) in standard conditions via TV channel, min 6000 m;
- detection range for “Tank” type targets (side view) in standard conditions via TV channel, min 4000 m;
- detection range for “Tank” type targets (side view) in standard conditions via TV channel, min 3000 m;
- recognition range for “Tank” type targets (side view) in standard conditions via TV channel, min 2000 m.
